Wide Bay Water Corporation provides a quality water supply and waste water treatment for the residents and businesses of Hervey Bay. The city has three dams on the Burrum River, two water treatment plants, six waste water treatment plants and five waste water reuse storage reservoirs that hold up to approximately 1500ML. The network also has 682kms of water mains and 346kms waste water mains.
The Fraser Coast region is serviced by two water and waste water services: Wide Bay Water in Hervey Bay and Fraser Coast Water in Maryborough
