What are the established private and public education facilities in your area?

The Fraser Coast has a wide range of high quality private and public education facilities, ranging from early childhood through to University.

Are there holiday and after school care options available?

There is a wide range of holiday and after school care options available. For detailed information it is recommended you contact the individual schools (see link below). The Fraser Coast Police Citizens Youth Club also provides a detailed and varied holiday activity program for kids.

Are there childcare places available on The Fraser Coast?

The Fraser Coast has an ever increasing number of high quality childcare facilities operating. Child Care providers include community operated centres, home based Family Day Care and private centre based care.

Are there any playgroups operating?

Many of the Churches and Community Centres operate playgroups. The Fraser Coast Police Citizens Youth Club also operates a Kids Gym each week.

 

What kind of extra curricular activities are available for children?

There is an exciting and diverse range of activities for children to participate in including lifesavers, pony club, callisthenics, scouts, sea scouts, guides, outrigging plus the full range of traditional sports. The Faser Coast Police Citizens Youth Club (PCYC) also provides a range of activities for children to participate in.
